📌 We begin this tour with an informative visit to the museum and a tasting beside the impressive mature barrels. Appreciate the fresh floral aroma of both sweet and dry wines from one of the oldest domesticated varieties of grapes in the world, Muscat grape.

 

📌 We continue to explore the mountainous region of west Samos, where we witness the skillfully constructed stone terraces called “pezoules” on the lush mountain slopes that are characteristic of Aegean vit.

 

📌 On the way, we make our second visit to another winery on the island to taste the labels of Vakakis wines and learn about their special blend of wine tradition, and culture.

 

📌 We save the best for with a visit to the mountain village of Platanos, a truly authentic village with an exceptional natural environment and a rich winemaking tradition. Here, you will find the award-winning Orizontas restaurant, where you can explore the creative side of Mediterranean cuisine, complemented by a selection of wines from all over Greece. The restaurant offers one of the most panoramic views of the vineyards and the Aegean Sea.
