A one-of-a-kind day tour based on the Samian tradition and local products. Your local guide will introduce you to a variety of small scale production local products, such as olive oil, wine, honey and ceramics. Through this today, you will have the chance to experience a guided tour in Samos’ most well known organic olive oil mill that will include an introduction to how organic greek olive oil is produced as well as fresh olive-oil tasting. Next stop will be the local winery right outside of one of the mountain villages of the island, where you will be able to taste the wine produced by the family-run business.
Lunch in one of the best restaurants in Samos with a breathtaking view of the mountains and the beach will be optional but strongly suggested. ( Please inform us on whether you would like to add this option on your tour).
While exploring the local culture through Samian food and gastronomy, one should not miss the sweetest one: honey! With the help of your local guide, and with an option of a lovely 30-minute walk in the mountain trail, you will be able to visit a beekeeper’s shop on the mountain with a live view into the hives. Samos is also known for art. But not any kind of art, Ceramics. This trip also brings you in touch with the local pottery artist through a tour in their workshop where you will have the chance to see Pythagora’s cup, a famous Samian souvenir. Join us for an unforgettable experience into the Samian culture!
